Our newly expanded portfolio of regular events dedicated to Fellows of CIPS provide an excellent opportunity for you to meet and be inspired with thought provoking discussions on key issues, and to exchange ideas and experiences.  Held in exclusive and stylish venues, the events are designed to be interactive and to encourage learning, discussion and debate through presentations by senior procurement leaders, opportunities to build contacts, and restaurant dining.

Our active and growing Fellows’ LinkedIn group has over 100 members and is open to all Fellows. This essential networking tool can help you to engage with senior procurement professionals online, sharing knowledge, insights and opportunities.

CPD 2

Transport for London (TfL) invite Fellows to join them in Greenwich to hear about the latest TfL projects and experience their recently opened Cable Car over the Thames. 

This is an opportunity for CIPS Fellows and specially invited guests to meet socially in Greenwich and not only experience the Cable Car but hear about other ongoing projects from transport for London such as Crossrail and the controversial airport debate.  Drinks and canapés will follow on the terrace till approximately 9pm.

CPD 2

A unique opportunity for Fellows’ to join colleagues from the Institute of Directors, London City Branch, for dinner in the magnificent Egyptian Hall of Mansion House as guests of the Rt Hon Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Sir David Wootton.

The event features a key note speech from Sir Roger Carr, Chairman of Centrica plc, Deputy Chairman and independent Director of the Court of the Bank of England, President of the Confederation of British industry, member of the PM's Business Advisory Group and Senior Advisor to KKR. He is also a visiting Fellow of Said Business School, University of Oxford and a Commissioner on the Commission for Ownership.

The CIPS SM Awards 2013 takes place on Wednesday 11 September, at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. This prestigious event will commence with a champagne reception at 19.45, followed by a three course meal including wine. The evening is your chance to network and celebrate with fellow procurement leaders.

Around 1200 people are expected to gather for the climax of the CIPS Supply Management Awards 2013, which celebrates excellence in purchasing and supply management.

This will be a spectacular event in collaboration with the CPD 2

IoD and hosted by VIP’s from Aston Martin & Stratstone of Mayfair at their prestigious show room W-One in Park Lane celebrating 100 Years of Aston Martin.

They will describe how an Aston Martin is a highly-crafted blend of tradition and technology, a powerful synthesis of design and engineering.

History with no future is just history. History with a future represents heritage - and at Aston Martin this goes back 100 years to the year 1913.

The power to change has always characterised Aston Martin, where leadership is not considered an inheritance but a continuous challenge and where flexibility in thinking and in production is a pre-requisite.

Even today, Aston Martin incorporates its heritage into all its cars and constantly revives the passion and spirit that started with Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford a century ago.

Each attendee will be given a goody bag containing a memento of the Aston Martin 100 year celebration and will be given the opportunity to enter a raffle - the star prize being a personal tour of The Aston Martin factory.
